The what's new menu feature will give you an overview of anything new that has been recently added to the site.
You also have options as to what to view - just click/tap the What's New menu button and you will see a list of everything new that's been added but there will also be a menu bar that you can use to see different items added (see below):
It's a handy way to keep up-to-date with what's happening on the site.
